Fed: Kidman turns to nails to get over her split with Cruise

SYDNEY, Aug 20 AAP - To get over her split with Tom Cruise, Australian actor Nicole
Kidman is turning to immaculately manicured nails - but not for cat fights with her ex-husband's
new love interests.

Kidman announced today she's involved in a new venture to provide express nail services
through an Australia-wide chain of outlets.

The red-haired Moulin Rouge star is going into business with six others, including
her sister Antonia and brother-in-law Angus Hawley, and cosmetics publicist Anna Marchant,
in a venture called Nail Bar Generation (NBG).

The chain will stock its own brand "regeneration" and will open its first outlet at
a major department store on Sydney's upper north shore this week.

Kidman said the new venture was the result of a group of family and friends working
to create something original and fresh.

"Anna, Antonia and I have created a new range of products which are high quality and
beautiful to use - we hope they will appeal to everyone," she said in a statement.

An NBG spokeswoman said Kidman would not be involved in the day-to-day operation of
the company but all partners were financially involved.

The new venture should keep Kidman occupied while she contemplates single motherhood
and possibly remarrying.

In an interview published in the latest edition of Woman's Day, due out today, Kidman
says "I will marry again".

On her first day as a divorced woman, she took time out to tell the magazine "what
it was like to be betrayed by the man she loved and trusted, Tom Cruise".

Kidman admits she's already seeing "a couple of people" and that she wants to marry again.

"I still believe in love," she is quoted by the magazine as saying.

Cruise, who has been dating Spanish actor Penelope Cruz, is said to have another film
beauty, Julia Roberts, in his sights in another report published by the magazine.

But Kidman's admission may be enough to get Hollywood tongues wagging again over rumoured
romantic links with New Zealand-born, Australian-bred Oscar winner and part-time musician,
Russell Crowe.

But in an interview last week on US television's Tonight Show, 37-year-old Crowe was
coy when questioned by host Jay Leno on whether he had kissed Kidman.

Responding to Leno's comments that Kidman had told him in an earlier interview that
she had never kissed Crowe, the Gladiator star said: "I think she was pulling your leg,
mate".

"I've actually been in a number of adult situations with Nicole," Crowe joked.

"She wasn't there at the time."

The pair holidayed together last month at Fiji's exclusive Wakaya Club resort.
