Fed: Blue chip Liberal slams Howard Government

It's been reported self-confessed "blue chip" Liberal and party donor RODNEY ADLER
has criticised the Howard Government's economic management.

Mr ADLER told the Sydney Morning Herald that the government was so economically incompetent
that Prime Minister JOHN HOWARD was politically dead.

He says the government has ignored the currency crisis, underrated Opposition Leader
KIM BEAZLEY, and taken small business for a ride.

Mr ADLER says the government should consider the currency situation a priority, and
they shouldn't blame the Reserve Bank, which he says is one of the best central banks
in the world.

He says a country's currency is like a company's share price.

He says it's a statement of how poorly Australia is perceived.
